Nino Kobaidze, born in Tbilisi in 1983, is a Georgian artist whose creative journey has been defined by a deep passion for visual arts and an unwavering commitment to self-expression. She began her formal education in the arts at Toidze Lyceum, where she honed her skills in painting and design, and later pursued advanced studies at the Institute of Culture and Art. Between 2004 and 2008, she attended the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, focusing on graphics and poster art, and in 2012 she earned her master’s degree in drawing, further refining her artistic vision and technique.
Since 2016, Nino has shared her expertise as an invited lecturer at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, mentoring a new generation of artists and fostering innovative approaches to drawing and composition. Her career bridges education and active creative practice, allowing her to remain deeply engaged with the evolving landscape of contemporary Georgian art. Throughout her journey, she has been recognized as a member of the Union of Artists of Georgia and a valued member of the Art Guild, reflecting her prominent place in the artistic community.
Kobaidze’s artistic portfolio is rich and diverse, spanning numerous solo and group exhibitions across Georgia and internationally. Notable highlights include her solo exhibitions “My Realization” (2016), “Voice of Emotion” (2022), “27 Frames” (2023), and “Modern Love” (2024). Her work has also been showcased in group exhibitions in Genoa, Italy, and in various cultural centers, reflecting her ability to connect with audiences worldwide. These exhibitions trace the evolution of her artistic language, from early explorations of figurative art to the abstract, emotive compositions that characterize her recent creations.
Nino Kobaidze’s art is deeply emotional, marked by bold colors, fluid forms, and a sense of introspective storytelling. Her paintings often explore the complexities of human emotion — love, solitude, silence, and transformation — expressed through layered textures and dynamic contrasts. Each piece invites the viewer into a world where symbolism and contemporary sensibilities merge, creating a dialogue that transcends cultural and linguistic boundaries. Her work stands as a vivid testament to the power of art to evoke emotion, provoke thought, and inspire connection.
