Natalia was born on August 16, 1995, in Tbilisi, Georgia. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree (2014-2018) and a Master’s degree (2018-2021) in painting from the Faculty of Visual Arts at Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. In 2020, Natalia participated in the Erasmus program as a Master’s student at the National Academy of Sofia, Bulgaria. By 2024, she was invited to teach as a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Visual Arts at Tbilisi State Academy of Arts.
In 2017, Natalia was selected by the Faculty of Visual Arts to attend the Del Bianco workshop in Florence, Italy. Two years later, she became a recipient of the Aleko Adamia scholarship and was sent by the Academy to participate in an international plein air and exhibition at the Palais Sommer Festival in Dresden, Germany. Her artistic journey continued in 2022, when she took part in the EuroArt2022 project in Valletta, Malta, and later won an international plein air in Nida, Neringa Municipality, Lithuania. Natalia also participated in international residencies in Troškūnai, Lithuania, in both 2023 and 2024.
Working with various materials in painting and graphics, Natalia creates objects and prefers developing series of works, believing that a single piece isn’t always sufficient to express her vision. These series are unified by themes of existential solitude, introspection, and inner emotional states. Her style can be described as conceptual realism. Natalia collaborates with numerous galleries, takes part in auctions, and her works are featured in private collections across Georgia and internationally, in countries such as Germany, Austria, the USA, Turkey, the UAE, Russia, Lithuania, and Latvia.
