Irakli Chikovani is a Georgian artist known for his expertise in easel painting. He was born and raised in Tkibuli, Georgia, where he completed his early education at the local public school from 1991 to 2000.
In 2000, Irakli began his formal art education at the “I. Nikoladze National Art School” in Tbilisi, where he specialized in easel painting. He completed his studies there in 2004. Shortly after, he enrolled at the prestigious “Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Arts,” continuing his focus on easel painting and earning his degree in 2008.
In 2008-2010, he furthered his education by graduating from the Tbilisi State Academy with a focus on easel paintings. Since 2011, Irakli has been an active member of the “Artists Union,” contributing to the Georgian art scene with his work and exhibitions.
With a rich artistic journey spanning 25 years, Irakli has honed his skills and developed a distinctive style characterized by expressive impressionism. A well-respected figure in the global art community, Irakli is a frequent participant and member of art planners in various countries. His paintings, delving into social issues and embracing the beauty of still life, have garnered widespread acclaim and are proudly housed in private collections across diverse countries, including Germany, Israel, Switzerland, Belgium, USA, Lithuania, Spain, France, Italy, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Singapore, and more.
Beyond his role as an artist, Irakli is passionate about supporting emerging talents, actively collecting rare works from the new generation of gifted artists. The establishment of his own gallery, “Annedia,” stands testament to his commitment to providing a platform for artistic expression.
He is currently spearheading the creation of an art residence dedicated to international knowledge sharing. This initiative aims to foster collaboration and cultivate a new generation of influential artists. Irakli Chikovani’s biography is not just a chronicle of personal artistic accomplishments but a testament to his enduring commitment to the growth and enrichment of the global artistic landscape.
