Luka Kiknadze was born on December 27, 1995, in the city of Tbilisi. Drawing has been an inseparable part of his life. He has been drawing since early childhood. As he recalls, his parents once took him to the zoo when he was still in kindergarten. It was there that an unknown artist drew his portrait, leaving a profound impression on him. This is how his passion for painting was born. Drawing was something he loved and never got tired of. Since then, he has been drawing day and night. His talent did not go unnoticed by his teacher and mentor, Tamar Bakuradze, who is an artist by profession. With her direct support, Luka was introduced to the secrets of drawing techniques from a young age. She also organized his first exhibition at Public School No. 195 in 2006. Since then, he has had several solo and group exhibitions.

From the age of 14 until he entered the academy, Luka studied at the art school of Professor Eka Abuladze, where he honed his skills as a future artist. Ultimately, he chose painting as his profession. In 2015, Luka enrolled in the Faculty of Architecture at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts (TSSA). A year later, he changed his major. He first studied illustration, then moved on to easel graphics. It was in this field that he completed the first stage of the Academy under the guidance of Professor Gogi Tsereteli, successfully defending his bachelor’s degree on March 10, 2021. He then continued his studies in the master’s program in painting at the Faculty of Painting under Professor Gia Gugushvili, which he also successfully completed in 2023.

Luka Kiknadze is currently continuing his studies at the Academy of Arts. He is now an outstanding first-year master’s student in the drawing program and is enrolled in the group of Professor Gogi Lazarashvili.
