From an early age, Sandro Gvinashvili has been immersed in the world of painting, developing a deep connection to art that has only grown stronger over the years. His early passion for visual expression paved the way for a distinguished education at the Academy of Fine Arts, where they specialized in film and television art between 2014 and 2018.
In 2018, their artistic journey took a significant turn when they became an assistant to the scenic artist at the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet State Theatre. During this time, he contributed to the scenography for the production of Carmen, a transformative experience that deepened his understanding of stage design and performance aesthetics.
While emerging as a contemporary artist with his distinctive creative style, Sandro has continued to explore new avenues of creative expression, working independently in his private studio. Here, he has honed his craft across a diverse range of mediums, including painting, graphics, and sculpture, constantly pushing the boundaries of his artistic vision.
Driven by a desire to blend tradition with innovation, their work reflects a unique fusion of classical techniques and contemporary thought. In his works abstraction meets surrealism, guiding viewers through a cosmic and introspective journey. Each piece serves as a testament to their dedication to the arts, offering a window into a world where emotion and form are intricately intertwined.
His visual language delves into spirituality, human consciousness, and the intricate web of life, frequently portraying abstracted human figures and animals. Through this seamless blend of the mystical and the earthly, his art captivates with both emotional force and contemplative resonance.
